We've partnered with Hazel Knits to create beautiful Elysian Shawl kits for our upcoming Virtual KAL!
The Elysian shawl by Mina Philipp (Knitting Expat) is a perfect mash up of all of our favorite things. It's a bold, textured, high contrast shawl showcasing the versatile two color fisherman's rib stitch.
We've paired this with Hazel Knits wonderfully squishy Lively DK in vivid spring colors. DK is our favorite yarn weight to work with. It knits up quicker than fingering but isn't as heavy as worsted so it's great for a variety of all-season garments and accessories.
2-color Fisherman's rib is a rythmic and mildly challenging stitch but simpler than brioche stitch for a perfect balance of comfort and stimulation with eye catching results. You'll only work with one color at a time.
Kit includes 3 skeins of Hazel Knits Lively DK in 3 contrastring colors (Color A/Color B/Color C).
Pattern is sold separately from Knitting Expat Designs and follows a Pay What Works model.
